When it comes to health and fitness, I believe in sustainability over all else! Sure, there are great "12-week programs, 1-month challenges, 90-day transformations", but by the end of the day, when you finish that, what's next? Another 12-week program? When working with clients, I like to build from the ground up. Instead of handing you a meal plan, I teach you how to build your own. Weight loss has been a battle for me for most of my life. When I was a little girl in grade 6 I fell. I cracked my ankle and couldn't walk for six months and was always teased about my weight and bullied. By the time I was in High school I was 300 pounds. After I graduated I got serious about my health and lost 100 pounds. I started working in the health and fitness industry selling supplements for over 5 years and got my Zumba instructor certification. I was getting my music degree during this time. Fast forward a few years my Dad passed away and I had a car accident where I herniated my disc. I couldn't work for 5 years. During this time and I got very down and started getting addicted to Rockstar energy drinks. I started gaining lots of weight and was almost back to 300. Then I started doing Oxygen Magazine Fitness challenges to help me get motivated to lose weight again. I did make good progress and made oxygen magazine but when it was over gained it back. Then I did Thomas Delaures program through science based six pack abs challenge and went from size 22 to 16 in thirty days. Then covid happened and I decided I wanted to help others so finished getting my personal training certification and nutritionist and other specialized courses to get my Elite trainer certification. I know how it feels like to be helpless and depressed and not like what you see in the mirror. But the biggest thing I learned is you have to love yourself enough to help yourself. Now I want to inspire others to get healthy and become their best self. Helping men and woman reach weight loss goals and singers to help gain full control over their health and power in their voices i am excited to see what we can accomplish.
